Many electronics manufacturers, retailers, and other businesses require certified destruction of their excess & obsolete inventory, product returns, and other branded items in order to avoid unauthorized warranty claims, unwanted competition against their own new product sales, or for other brand protection considerations. To meet these needs, Metech can provide secure handling of these products from the point of pickup to delivery at a Metech facility. Our processing operations are secured by locked access points, digital video monitoring systems, and security guards. Once received, customers’ products requiring certified destruction will be broken down into commodity scrap materials through a combination of de-manufacturing and shredding as required, prior to leaving that facility. The entire process is fully tracked under the guidelines of Metech’s Accountable Resource Management® protocols so that customer-specific disposition reports can be easily generated and provided in a timely fashion.
