Worcester, MA –April 5, 2006 -Today Sam Advani, President of Metech International, announced their recycling facility located in Penang, Malaysia. The 25,000 square foot high security facility is specifically designed for the de-manufacturing and certified destruction of materials and systems from the electronics industry. 

This fully permitted and operational facility is both ISO 9001:2000 and 14001:2004 Certified. Metech Malaysia further extends the reach of Metech’s Accountable Resource Management^®  (ARM^®) program.   This ARM program, the only one of its kind in the electronics recycling industry, assures customers complete product stewardship through step-by-step tracking and accountability for all material handling. This is a critical issue in the face of growing global concerns about “cradle-to-grave" environmental responsibility and information security.
